Rob tattoos under the handle Slasher Tattoos, and the gallery below does most of the introduction. Horror is the through line. Slasher masks, possessed faces, a gremlin holding a bucket of popcorn, a witch framed inside a coffin, and film characters rendered as real portraits rather than cartoons.
The work runs in two lanes. One is saturated color built on heavy black outlines, packed shading, and bright palettes over pop culture subjects. The other is black and grey, from fine stippled linework on mythological figures to bold neo traditional animals sized for a chest or a thigh. Traditional flash turns up as well, like the cardinal and dogwood piece further down the page.
